and director Sarah Silver
I love that my job allows me to work with the brilliant minds at leading brands including r.e.m. Beauty by Ariana Grande, Laneige, OPI, Hourglass, K18 Hair, NARS, Colgate, NIKE, and more.
Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, W magazine and Glamour have featured my work, among others.
Based in NYC, but always travelling, you can often find me working bi-coastally or wherever in the world a job takes me. In between coasts, I love spending time in my beloved native Chicago.
Spare time for me usually means reading (sci-fi, voraciously), teaching (rising photographers, avidly), and baking (mostly pies, deliciously).* I’m also a devoted plant parent to a thriving brood of oversized leafy friends.
I love educating and it’s been my honor to give professional talks for The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Parsons School of Design, The Fashion Institute of Technology, and The School of Visual Arts and Today at Apple. I earned my Master’s Degree in Photography from The School of Visual Arts (SVA) and my Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Vassar College.
